Pride Brazos Outreach

We are volunteers invested in educating the public about what Pride Community Center does in the Brazos Valley. In addition, we share information about health concerns that impact the community, public policy and current events. 

Program Description:
Activities such as resource tabling, trainings provided for other agencies/orgs, stuff we do to reach out to talk about LGBTQIA+ lives. This also includes appearances, community meetings, and attending intra-agency meetings.

How we do it:
When engaging as a resource representative, volunteers share what Pride Community Center does, including information about programs, events and initiatives. Depending on the type of event, different informational brochures may be utilized. These can include health brochures, brochures about the organization and materials about who LGBTQIA+ people are and cultural competency.
